This guided tour will provide your proper introduction to Rhodes! Experience a panoramic city tour, easily accessing all of the city's highlights aboard our medium-sized bus. Then, explore Rhodes' Medieval Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that beautifully preserves the spirit of the medieval era, exhibiting stunning Gothic architecture and a vibrant local culture. The second part of the day will lead you along the scenic East Coast to visit the picturesque village of Lindos.

ITINERARY

  • Panoramic Rhodes City Tour - 30 min

- Pass by the Acropolis of Rhodes and learn about the ancient city of Rhodes while observing the Panoramic views

- Drive through Rhodes City, highlighting the most important landmarks, including the statue of the ancient hero Diagoras, the Northernmost point of Rhodes, the Town Hall, the main Church - Evangelismos, the site of the ancient Colossus, the Mandraki Port, the New Market, and many more...

 

  • Guided tour with free time in Rhodes Medieval Town - 1.5 hours

- Enter the Medieval town through the grand D'Amboise Gate, one of its most spectacular entrances

- Learn about the significance of the construction of the fortifications by the Knights of St. John

- Pass by key administrative buildings such as the Knights’ Headquarters, the Hospital, and the Commercial Court

- Listen about the Dragon's Tail and other "Medieval" stories

- Wander through medieval Agora with charming boutiques, galleries, and cafes and soak up the town's unique atmosphere.

 

  • Scenic drive to Lindos along the East Coast of Rhodes Island - 1 hour

- Observe the Mediterranean coastline with charming resorts and traditional villages

- Pass through Afantou Valley and Kalathos Valley

- Along the way, listen to the guide explaining Rhodes' traditions

 

  • Guided tour with free time in Lindos village - 2 hours (approx. 12:55-14:55)

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY - 2 (Easy/ Moderate)

Passengers must be able to step in and out of the tour vehicle (our buses are equipped with a power step). Travelers must be able to walk over paved or cobblestone surfaces. 

Rhodes Medieval Town and Lindos Village have inclines, narrow walkways, and cobbled streets.

The Acropolis of Lindos is situated at the top of the rock. There are approx 300 steps and a long flight of stairs without handrails.
